Luca Vincenzo's nomadic nature attributes to the global perspective with which he lenses his work. Born and raised in Zululand, South Africa, followed by a decade perfecting his craft in Cape Town, he now resides in Europe, working continentally and internationally.
Luca approaches photography with a sense of nostalgia-tinted voyeurism while maintaining a future-focused aesthetic. A strong sense of narrative runs throughout the broad spectrum of his work, spanning portraiture, fine art, travel documentary and evocative commercial work that captivates and compels.
From his published personal works in the pages of Elle, Le Mile, Glamour, and Le Petit Voyeur, to distinctive imagery for the likes of global giants such as Moët & Chandon, Gucci, and H&M, Luca's masterful command of light and subject matter has resulted in a refreshing and unique perspective.
A people-centric personality that radiates empathy and warmth aids him in gaining the trust and comfort of his subject matter, whether working on dynamic commercial sets or while on the road for personal projects.
Luca is an independent artist working in the fields of portraiture, reportage, travel, and advertising.
